KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our Corporate Finance organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue investment banking business development opportunities and originate new client engagements for the firm within the Software sector
  • Develop prospect and referral networks and support firm efforts in developing and executing business development and marketing strategies Lead deal teams on a variety of transactions from initial client pitch to transaction closing
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of client relationships, transactions and investment banking teams and serve as primary client contact on engagements Provide leadership, professional development and mentoring for junior staff
  • Lead and participate in practice building including, but not limited to recruitment and training, thought leadership, management and mentorship of staff and/or solution development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum fifteen years of recent experience at middle-market or boutique investment bank; ten years of experience in Software investment banking
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Finance or a similar discipline Licensed FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79 preferred
  • Proven track record of new business development, originating and execution on deals and closing investment banking engagements
  • Established relationships and contacts with private equity firms, middle market businesses and referral sources
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to serve clients
