Alerion Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Palliative for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

This is a travel nurse position. Only candidates residing 50 or more miles from Rochester, NY will be considered for this position.

\n Your Impact: \n\n

\n\t
• You'll provide end-of-life care with a focus on managing complex patient needs and supporting families in crisis.\n\t
• Strong IV skills, wound care knowledge, and compassionate communication are essential, as well as astute assessment abilities to advocate for patients who are no longer able to speak for themselves.\n\t
• This unit also cares for general medicine overflow, offering variety in your daily work.\n

\n Who We’re Looking For: \n\n

\n\t
• You have a passion for compassionate care : Your experience in palliative or acute med/surg environments means you're ready to step into a role where you can make a real impact.\n\t
• You bring your skills to the table : Your proficiency in IV management, wound care, and patient-controlled analgesia pumps (or CHPN certification) will be highly valued.\n\t
• You’re experienced and skilled : With at least two years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience and BLS certification, you're well-prepared to deliver outstanding care.\n

\n Requirements: \n\n

\n\t
• Current NYS RN License \n\t
• 2+ years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience \n\t
• BLS Certification (from AHA)\n\t
• Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification (highly desired)\n

\n Details: \n\n

\n\t
• Schedule : 36 or 48-hour shifts, rotating days/evenings/nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as per unit needs.\n\t
• Pay Package : Competitive weekly pay based on 12-hour shifts and a 48-hour work week (subject to confirmation), plus a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined). 36 Hours Work week is also an option!\n
