Job Responsibilities

• Originate and structure direct, lead opportunities for equity-sponsored cash flow senior debt transactions.
• Execute prospecting activities and develop relationships with private equity firms, investment banks, and industry participants to generate direct senior debt investment opportunities.
• Assist in syndication processes and manage a team of underwriters and portfolio managers.
• Facilitate due diligence with internal underwriting teams and advocate for new deals during credit approval.
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer financial conditions, Webster's products, services, and capabilities.
• Represent Webster in the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field; advanced degrees, CFA, or CPA preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in leverage finance, structuring, and cross-selling bank products.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with private equity firms.
• Strong credit and structuring skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of regulations governing financial products/services.

The estimated salary range is $275,000 to $325,000 USD, plus incentive compensation. Actual salary depends on experience, knowledge, and location.
