HVAC Technician I & II

Location: Alameda, CA

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Pay Range: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience and level)

About the Role:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Facilities HVAC Technicians (Level I & II) to join our facilities operations team in Alameda, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for both entry-level and experienced HVAC professionals to advance their careers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll help maintain, repair, and service HVAC and refrigeration systems supporting critical facility infrastructure including labs, cleanrooms, and office spaces.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment (filters, belts, lubrication, inspections)
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/refrigeration systems
• Respond to work orders and collaborate with vendors or contractors when needed
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality management standards

Qualifications:

For HVAC Tech I:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level to 2+ years of experience in HVAC or facilities maintenance preferred
• EPA Certification

For HVAC Tech II:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years HVAC/facilities maintenance experience
• EPA Certification
