Reports to: Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting

Purpose:

The Data Analyst II creates and maintains reports for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides reporting and analytical support for business operations, utilizing data including but not limited to: claims, provider, payer, patient, drug, clinical, fulfillment, inventory, referal, status, and dispense data.
  • Develops reports and analytics deliverables for both internal and external customers
  • Reviews assigned requests, gather requirements, and design appropriate data and reporting solutions.
  • Implements solutions via reports, data extracts, and analyses using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and other data reporting and analytical tools.
  • Tests and validates all solutions to ensure adherence to requirements and data accuracy.
  • Reviews data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to management.
  • Develops, executes, maintains, and troubleshoots complex scripts and reports developed in SQL.
  • Manages multiple, variable tasks and processes with limited supervision within targeted timelines and thrive in a demanding, quickly changing environment.
  • Works closely with, and understand the processes of, other teams in order to implement holistic solutions.
  • Documents requests, requirements, and solutions using the appropriate tools as defined by the team manager.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Experience in SQL Programming.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
