Job Description

Our organization is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Custodians to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks including cleaning classrooms and restrooms, light maintenance work such as switching light bulbs and painting, and assisting with event set up and tear downs. Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms and restrooms to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Perform light maintenance work such as fixing light bulbs and painting to ensure the facilities are in good working condition
• Assist with event set up and tear downs to ensure a smooth and successful event
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
